Our
Purpose
The BC Cue Sports Society (BCCSS) has been
formed as a nonprofit organization to promote the development of
snooker, billiards, eight ball, nine ball and other cue sports as
a recreational, social and competitive activity. Membership is open
to any resident of British Columbia.
Competitions
The goal of the Society is to promote and hold regional and
Provincial competitions in suitable venues throughout the Province.
To ensure that all areas of the Province are represented by the
Society, BCCSS will encourage the development of regional zones
based on location and population. Regional tournaments leading to
an annual Provincial tournament where all areas of the Province
are represented, is a primary goal of the Society.
Referee
Clinics
Referee clinics will be held throughout the Province, resources
permitting, to promote further knowledge of the rules of the games

Youth
Development
The
Society will develop opportunities to encourage and instruct younger
players to develop the skills and etiquette of snooker and other
cue sports by inviting their participation in clinics and friendly
competition.
Handicap
System
In order to encourage membership and participation in BCCSS
sanctioned competitions, the Society is committed to development
of a method of handicapping that will be fair and equitable to all
players of any skill level who may wish to participate in competitive
play.
Membership
Fees
An annual membership fee of $10 entitles members to participate
in any BCCSS sanctioned event, receive the Society's Newsletter
and attend the annual general meeting of the Society. The amount
of the annual membership fee may have to be adjusted from time to
